Slowly, I can feel myself returning to normal. The extreme tiredness of last week is starting to leave me, and I’m beginning to feel my toes again. They were all tingly for a while there, while I stared at them in exhaustion as I swayed to and fro. But this week has delivered mercy in the form of a work shift that begins at 9, and in this new found routine I find that I once again get to enjoy the benefits of working at a time that normal people enjoy. Like, you know, not falling asleep at the keyboard in your first 20 minutes of work, or not having to wipe drool off your sleeve at midday as you try and decipher the post it note stuck to your keyboard screen instructing you on what to get done for the day, and then gently reminding of you of your name and telephone number in case of emergency.
So details of our last wonderful weekend filled with special people, tons of sushi, budding romances and hand fed seagulls, is guaranteed to follow in the next little bit
